PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information ZFLOW (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.zflowhq.com and join our waiting list, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We are the controller of this information under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you join the waiting list we store:

  • your name and email address, which you give us;
  • the date and time you signed up;
  • your IP address and browser details (the “user agent”), which your device sends automatically;
  • whether our confirmation email was sent successfully.

When you visit the site we also collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics, such as page views, the country you visit from and the type of device. These do not use cookies and do not identify you.

WHY WE USE IT

  • To run the waiting list: to confirm you have joined and to tell you when the ZFLOW academy opens. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by joining.
  • To keep the sign-up form safe: your IP address and browser details help us block spam and automated abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
  • To understand how the site is used: through the anonymous statistics described above. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process information on our behalf:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and provides the anonymous usage statistics.
  • Neon: stores the waiting list database.
  • Resend: sends our emails and keeps our mailing list.

Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep your details until the academy opens and we have told you about it, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. After launch we will only keep them if you choose to stay on our mailing list. Every marketing email we send includes a link to unsubscribe.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it, or to delete it;
  • withdraw your consent and leave the waiting list at any time;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.

To do any of these, email hello@zflowhq.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

SECURITY

Your information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Access is limited to the people who run ZFLOW.

CHILDREN

The waiting list is intended for people aged 18 and over.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email.
